Heeeey to all of my nail polish lovin' peeps! This week has been exhausting! Whew! Well, I have some exciting and not-so-exciting news for you tonight. I guess I'll start with the good news (?) and then we'll get to the rest as I'm doing my review. Tonight, I am trying out a new layout for the blog. I have a different way of taking photos and have also changed up my watermark. Please feel free to let me know what y'all think!
Tonight I have swatches of Kleancolor's Techno High metallic polish collection. Okay, soooo I have been wanting these polishes for a while and was really disappointed with some things when I finally tried them! Overall, I was very disappointed with the brushes. Please do not hate me for posting some messy swatches because this was the best I could do! The brushes were uneven and pieces of them were just falling off. Ugh. Maybe it is because I have mini bottles. I have to say, I usually LOVE the brushes in mini polishes because I have thin nails....but these - no thanks! I will get into detail on each color later! Just to let you know, I did not use top coat in any photos and all of the colors are of one coat each.
First up is Metallic Pink. I love the color and the formula on this one was really good. IMO, it also had the best brush.
Next up is Metallic Yellow. I also love this color, it's almost golden. The problem I had with this is that when I went to try this polish on I noticed it was 90% dried out. Yep, a brand new polish! What the heck?! I loaded that baby with polish thinner and shook it for the longest time and really didn't get anywhere. I was able to get enough polish to take these photos, but I think I may just have to throw this bottle away. Total bummer.
Metallic Purple - I love this color! I guess that's not surprising since I LOVE purple polish. The formula on this one was pretty decent. Definitely workable, but the brush...not so much. It was worth it in the end, though, because I do love the color.
Metallic Jungle is next. This is a nice light blue polish. Again, the formula on this was decent and the brush wasn't too terrible. Definitely one of my favorite colors of the collection and in general. I do apologize for the following pictures. Any time I take pictures of a polish this color, the camera gives me total lobster hands! Ugh.
Okay, Metallic Navy is next. I love this color...I really do. But the brush = suckville! This must be the worst brush I have ever used. I didn't even bother to clean up the mani because I wanted you all to see how terrible it was. Very, very sad. Oh, and this one was goopy.
Last up is Metallic Brown. I was really looking forward to this polish because I don't have many brown polishes and it looked really pretty in the bottle. Okay...the formula on this was a goopy nightmare! Aaaaah! I put some polish thinner in it and it helped some...but the formula was still awful. This is why my ring finger looks all lumpy...couldn't even it out!
Okay, overall I love every color. However, the terrible formulas combined with cheap, uneven brushes really made me grade this collection a C at best. Maybe next time I will order a metallic in a full size bottle and see if it helps! Have a great day!

Christmas Layering: China Glaze Running In Circles + China Glaze I'm Not Lion
Happy Saturday, y'all! I am so happy that it's Saturday that I have decided to do two posts today! I have one scheduled to post around noon, but I really wanted to share my mani that I did last night. I wanted to do something Christmas-y for y'all since my post later is not Christmas related.
Last night I decided to layer China Glaze I'm Not Lion over China Glaze Running In Circles. I ended up really liking this combo! I also realized that I have never done a post about I'm Not Lion...and it's such a pretty polish! A post for Running In Circles will come later this week! :o) The following photos are of one coat of I'm Not Lion with Seche Vite top coat.
Isn't it pretty?! You may also notice I have a new watermark, which I have talked about in my post scheduled for later today! Also, don't forget to enter my giveaway!

Zoya Roxy
Good evening, polish lovers! I hope you all have had a good week so far. Work has been really busy for me, so I am ready for some shopping this weekend with some friends! Come on, Saturday! Maybe I will be able to get some Christmas shopping knocked out...because I definitely haven't started that! Eek!
Today's polish is Zoya Roxy. Um, I found this on clearance at Ulta and can't believe it! I love it (partially because my dog's name is Roxy...hehe)! This is a magenta jelly polish with more magenta glitter! It's so squishy looking and pretty! The following photos are two coats of Roxy and Seche Vite top coat.
Um, yeah. That's all I have to say. True love. You can find these polishes at Ulta for $8 each. FYI: Zoya Ornate swatches coming soon!

The Liebster Award 2.0
Hey everyone! Well, I truly have an extra special post for you today that I hope you will enjoy! I was nominated last night for The Liebster Award by Sarah at Partly Cloudy With A Chance Of Lacquer. After reading up about it, I found out that it is a way to recognize new bloggers that have less than 200 followers in order to help spread the word about their blog. Basically, this will be a fun get-to-know-you post. I have to say, I am really honored to be nominated for this and I really hope you all enjoy reading today's blog! :o)
The rules are:
1. You must post 11 random facts about yourself.
2. You must answer the 11 questions that the person who nominated you asked.
3. You must then come up with 11 new questions and tag 11 other bloggers with less than 200 followers to keep the ball rolling. No tag backs, however!
First up are the 11 random facts about myself:
1. My favorite type of food is Mexican! I could seriously eat Mexican food for every meal, every day and never get tired of it!
2. I have three pets: a 3 year old Brittany Spaniel named Roxy, a 6 month old Aussie mix puppy named Windy and a 3 month old kitten named Dexter and they are my babies!
3. I attended the University of Central Florida in Orlando and I am a proud alumni! I am obsessed with my Knights!
4. At UCF, I majored in Event Management. UCF is currently the only school in the country with a B.S. Degree in Event Management, so I am very proud of my degree!
5. I am OBSESSED with Friends. I think it is the best show ever on television and I own all of the DVDs and can quote almost every word of every episode!
6. I am also a huge Lucille Ball fan. I believe she was the greatest actress of all time and I own a bunch of collectibles. If I could meet anyone from the past, it would be her!
7. Like I said earlier, I love the Knights and I love football! I also play fantasy football every year and love doing that too!
8. I am a chocoholic. I loooove chocolate. If I could, I would always skip dinner and go straight to dessert. I could live off that stuff!
9. I have recently decided to make my own nail polish line. I am waiting on all of my materials to arrive and am nervous about the venture but am confident I can be successful!
10. I currently live in Alabama and dislike it very much. I would love to move somewhere warmer and more lively. Charleston, SC would be a dream location for me!
11. I currently have over 200 polishes in my collection and my stash keeps growing every day!
Sarah's Questions:
1. Is your favorite polish your favorite color too?
Surprisingly it's not. My favorite color is green and I tend to gravitate toward blue and purple polish. Although, I do love green polish as well!
2. If you could have any animal as a pet, what would it be?
Well, I would absolutely love to have a horse! But, if I could get really crazy I would either want a giraffe or a dolphin! How fun would that be?!
3. What is your favorite part about the holidays?
I love to decorate, so I always find a lot of happiness in that. But, my very favorite thing would be getting to go home and see all my friends and family that I haven't been able to see in a long time.
4. Who was your biggest influence to start your own blog?
This is a tough question because there are so many blogs that have inspired me, but I am going to have to go with Chloe's Nails on this one. That is the first nail blog that I discovered and was completely obsessed with! Unfortunately, Chloe hasn't posted since April, so I don't know where she is!
5. Have you ever the left country you live in?
Yes! I live in the USA and have been to the Bahamas, Grand Cayman, Jamaica and Mexico! I love to travel!
6. Would you rather read the book or watch the movie?
Okay, this is a tough question because I love movies and I love to read. But, I am going to have to say that I would rather read the book. I don't know why, but it always seems like the books are better than the movies!
7. What is your preferred genre of music?
Country all the way!!!
8. What is your least favorite part of your current job (or school)?
I would have to say that my least favorite part of my job is that it is not what I expected to be doing with my life. It is a pretty far cry from event planning and I hope to be able to get into that once my husband and I can move!
9. What is your go-to polish when you can't decide what color you want to paint your nails?
I really don't have a specific polish. I usually just pick something blue or purple.
10. What name(s) would you NEVER name your children?
I am one of those people who like unique (but not weird) names. So, I would never name my kids anything you hear a lot like Ashley or Robert.
11. What is the last embarrassing thing that happened to you?
I honestly can't think of anything recently, but a couple of years ago I was shopping in Target and it had been raining outside. As I was leaving the store I guess I stepped in a puddle that hadn't been mopped up and I fell straight onto my butt. It hurt so bad that I couldn't walk right for a couple of days! I'm not sure if anyone saw or not because I got up as quickly as I could and ran to my car!
My Questions for the Nominated Blogs:
1. What is your favorite band?

Jindie Nails Santa Claws Collection Picks
Happy December!!! Can y'all believe it is almost the end of the year?! Thanksgiving is gone and now it's already time for Christmas shopping. Time sure does fly! Today, I have yet another awesome post for y'all! I have my swatches and reviews for my picks from the Jindie Nails Santa Claws Collection. Oh my goodness you guys, these polishes are awesome! Please be aware - this is a very picture heavy post!
First up is Noel. Noel is literally packed with red, white and green matte glitter along with some metallic green glitter! The formula was a bit thick, but nothing you can't fix! I was also surprised by how quickly it dried. I love this polish - it is just so unique! The following photos are of two coats of Noel with top coat.

Second is Candy Cane. Oooooooh myyyyyy gooooooosssssshhhhhh. What do I even say about this polish? This is a white crelly base with red and green micro glitter, red and green metallic and red matte glitter. This polish just is plain awesome and the formula was great! The only thing that could make this polish better would be if it smelled like a candy cane! Ha. The following photos are of 3 coats of Candy Cane with a top coat.

Last, but certainly not least is Just Elfing Around. Okay, again, it is hard to find words to describe how amazing this polish is! This is a clear jelly polish packed with white and red matte glitter, small green metallic glitter, medium and small silver holo glitter and what looks like small red and white squares along with red and white shreds. I mean this polish is Christmas all the way! Wowza! The following is two coats of Just Elfing Around layered over Maybelline Color Show Bold Gold with a top coat.

Overall, these polishes ROCK! You can find all of her polishes on her Etsy shop. Unfortunately, her shop is on vacation mode right now due to the high volume of orders she has received recently. Hopefully she will be back soon! I have some orders I am waiting on and I can't wait to show them to y'all when they come in!!!
